Nice light Sos  :like:

I have an old G2 Nitrolon (15+ years) which I use for work and it's never let me down, although the batteries (here in the UK) are scarily expensive  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

After a quick google can't you just use RCR123As? I thought they were just the rechargeable equivalent but now I'm questioning whether or not I've been playing torch roulette  :ahhh

Evening GF  :salute:

You're probably right (I have no idea  :dunno: ) I also don't have a battery charger

I don't use it on a regular enough basis to buy in bulk, without them discharging over the YEARS! I don't really use the torch that much

I could use other torches (e.g. my LED Lenser MT14, used for SAR) but, ironically, it is too bright to use for my work needs

Hmm, maybe I should put an edge on my mini sword. :)
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

Hello
The day 18 conundrum .
Glasses need the screws tightening which I can do with my Wave.
Problem is I need my glasses to see what I am doing as the screws are too small to see without glasses.
A lot of hit and miss seems to have worked.

Day18
Okay weird day...
So as some you may know I sometimes do furniture repair usually from stuff I picked from the trash and fix up. So tonight I see a deWalt box; naturally figuring it's an old tool someone has upgraded I grab it and leave. Now here's where it gets weird when I go to inspect it I find not an old tool but a brand new cordless saw that doesn't look like it's ever even had a blade mounted ???

Yep brand new Dewalt, no battery, out of a trash pile, I'm as confused as can be why this thing was there :dunno:
It's always a bit odd when you find something that's new or practically new.
It does have a 2014 mfg date so maybe somebody did upgrade or system change and just got rid of it...
Lord knows I've got some tools that I bought for projects and then never used.

I used to be a lot of things, and someday will again.
But for now I'm just a lost jack of trades with neither mastery nor home. ~NoaIsumi

Day 18

Little bit of a late one for Day 18, but when the nap takes you, what's a fella meant to do?  :dunno:

So here I give you some of my tool maintenance...tools, the only thing missing is my EDCi and the rubber soldering mat I use (stops things rolling around and has all kinds of nifty places for screws and compartments):

Check out my Youtube channel  for gear reviews, comparisons, and carry philosophy.

Hello to day 19.
A bit early but then it is day 19 here and I am trying to get on time.
Some running repairs to the cat door where the frame has been beaten by the sun and has now finally collapsed.
Trick is now to find one the same size after at least 15 years.

Day 19

Diving deeper into Batman today than MacGuyver, thesse lovely little torches are very floody and betweent the carabiner, velcro (both hook and loop on each) and a magnet, you can attack them damn near anywhere!
