Glow in the Dark trauma shears are usually about the same price as regular ones. These are DOUBLE in price to regular Raptors.

In my opinion, they should've dropped the PVD coating and the LE aspect; used a standard holster (not glow in the dark, black), and made the handles glow in the dark. If it had been MSRP; I bet they'd sell like hotcakes. I'd buy one.

Yeah, the price on these is ridiculous. Leatherman needs to put out a new tool or fix the Free series rather than putting out a bunch of colors or minor differences like this.

For $150, you could rent a hot nurse who would bring her own scissors.   >:D

What, leatherman screwing us...
What’s with the surprise :dunno:
I hope SOG reinvent themselves and kick LM’s ass.

I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

I’m waiting for a lime green, safety green, or glo in the dark Charge in G10. I have faith in you Leatherman.

Limited Editions are en vogue and very common in the knife industry... and probably a good way to make some extra cash of collectors.
I don't really mind, not even the inflated prices as you can still get the regular model if it is not worth to you.
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

Yep, lot of companies have done this for years :salute: As long as they still have their regular production models as well most people overall will be appeased  I just wish they would tighten back up on their quality control  :D

The good thing about those limited editions is, that no-one ever uses them... so QC is irrelevant

Well, one thing for sure: 1000 Raptors are gone (sold) in 4 hours. Limited edition Damascus Charge with wood handles and fiber scales was be sold in few DAYS, total 600 of them. It seems weird to me, why pretty useless Raptor (if compare to Charge) sold out so fast? Who paid 150$ every 24 seconds, for specific paramedic shears? I don’t believe it’s actually was be sold in this quantity. But that’s what LTG said. Very weird

My guess entirely. I am a Matchbox and Hot Wheels collector, and I don't care where you are, all the good releases will be gone from your local stores, and be found on eBay for $10 or more (for a one-dollar car!). I can recall seeing two older guys in my local Walmart, each with a buggy full. Had to be no reason other than resale.

I recently bought two limited edition Camo Charge + Tools at $150 each. I plan to eventually sell the unopened one at a major markup, essentially making my user very cheap, if not free. 😉

Last year, or little more, LTG made it much harder to do; if individual buy more than 2 identical items of the same product in “sale” section  or limited edition tool, most likely this person will receive a phone call from LTG with multiple questions, or, less often an email from LTG brand protection dept. Hundreds of people got banned forever, because people  wanted to resell stuff or they just bought few for personal use/gifts or whatever, but was be not convincing when on phone with LTG rep..

Yeah, but that probably does not hold true for re-sellers like BladeHQ. They have them on the website. If all of these larger businesses buy 10-20 pieces then 500 are gone fast.

I kinda regret only getting the Gold one and not both. That purple one is going to be my next Charge Ti Damascus, probably.

I must be looking at the wrong site, bc I’ve been checking sportsman’s site and see no G10 charges. Especially not the black one.
