I could be wrong...but I do not see a SuperTool 200.  :pok:  :pok:

You’re not wrong! I still need a Supertool 200, original Supertool, PSTII, freestyle CX (and a regular freestyle, I suppose), and a regular Skeletool (I have a CX with a 3D printed pommel, a gold plated Skeletool, and a Damasteel Skeletool).

I just haven’t got around to looking for/ordering them, tbh.

You do have a few that I do not have....such as those G10 ones. Leatherman is now harder to get up here in Canada than it once was.

You know you have the collector bug bad when you start hunting down all the colour variations.  :multi:

Yeah, I’ve been trying to feign self control by not getting every color variant. . . Once I can get some examples of tools I don’t already have, I’ll probably end up looking for black oxide versions of everything and then move on to the different colors.

I’m also kinda wanting a Kick with a clip in regular stainless. I have a stainless kick sans clip, and a black oxide one with a clip already, so the stainless clip just seems needed in my head.

When I started collecting multi-tools...I thought I would be done with 6 Leathermans...because at the time, that is all I though they had.

Now I am north of 300 Leathermans.

North of 300? I’m definitely more than a little jealous.  :D

One day, I’ll get there. I’ve only been taking this collecting thing a bit serious for maybe just over a year. I think that’s why I didn’t get the blue Damascus Charge. I wasn’t really seriously collecting at that point.

Started with a Micra I randomly was given maybe five years ago. It sat in the center console of my car for like three years before I used it for something. I thought “hey, this is pretty useful. Lemme see what else they offer”. I bought a sidekick, then a Wave and Rebar. And things were fine with that collection for a while. . . Then I got a newer XE6, and it quickly snow-balled from there.

Just counted, and I am currently at 122 Leathermans. I think I have maybe a dozen Victorinox models, and a few Gerbers. The Dime, Armbar Drive, and Grappler

That Juice drawer is like seeing a dream! Wow!

Also, that drawer where the camo charges are, on the top row in the middle. . . You have two blue charges? Might I ask what they are? They look spectacular!

One is a limited run of I think 5 from this forum when it first started (or a year later...before I joined up in 2009 anyhow). I may be wrong, but there is also another limited run of a different colour (green?) made at the same time.  The other one is a Texas ToolCrafter blue anodized job.

Wow! Very nice!

I do get sad that TTC isn’t around anymore. If only I had been collecting when they were. I could’ve had so many neato tools. Lol

Yes, quite sad to see them go myself. Noted that Leatherman is more than willing to do the same to their own stuff now that TTC is out of business.

And..

You would not know this, but two of the black Charges are prototypes from 2009. The one has a DLC (Diamond Like Coating) finish. The other has the same finish, but also features a pair of Damascus blades...Leatherman was toying with the idea around the time they created their 2009 Damascus Edition Wave.

Oh, if only I’d been bitten by the collecting bug sooner.  I could’ve bought so many cool things! lol

  • Apparently it is possible to have too many tools;)
I could be wrong...but I do not see a SuperTool 200.  :pok:  :pok:

And the ST200 comes in several different variants: SS/BO, with/without cap crimper (CC) pliers, "USA" (early) and "Tool" (later) pliers, and then there are the pre-production versions made for Shot Show, and  .....

I didn't see a BO LM Mini either, and there are quite a few different Mini variants (Clean skins, "Pat Pend", "4744272",  "Pat Pend" & "4744272", then there is the almost mythical Made in Japan version.

Lots and lots of rabbit holes to disappear down here (and one of the deepest and longest is the original LM PST - it is incredible how many variations they made of these).

You are running with the big dogs here ....   ;)   :pok:   :D

All noted! Recently, I’ve been at about two to three new-to-me tools a week. I currently only have one tool on the way, a Micra with the green plastic over the handles. After that gets here, there’s a particular Charge I’m looking at, then I’ll be clear to finish up my short list and probably dive down one of those rabbit holes.

It’s a work in progress with no end set, so I have all the time in the world!

Also, speaking of the made in Japan mini tool, one of those PSTs with the big letters and Japan stamped blades is among the newer additions I’ve made.

Have fun and taking your time is definitely the way to go.  In the past I've gotten impatient to get a particular tool and ended up paying more than I should, then a few weeks later the same tool would pop up, in better condition for significantly less money  :twak:

Take your time is right.  If I can offer a little advice is set a price you are wiling to pay and do your best to stick to it.  The rarer pieces snap up if your budget allows because some don't come along all that often.  Tools pop up when you least expect it so patience will be rewarded.

A fun MT to collect are Gerber "Mr Pinchy".  There's enough variations to keep you interested.  As mentioned the PST is one that'll keep you interested for a long time.  I briefly went down both rabbit holes .

Happy collecting.

Fantastic collection there Nearly
Given the short period you’ve amassed a huge arsenal. Lucky you with the juices now LM have discontinued the line- you timed that perfect.
Aloha is right, the Gerber MP600 series is great , you’ll go crazy trying to collect those - they too come in several colours  :pok:

Enjoy  :salute:
I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

Thanks!

I was just thinking about the timing of my collection the last time I won a Juice. My blue S2 got me to looking at their prices now compared to when I started and they seem to have increased to nearly double, if not more, in the short period of time I’ve been at it. They’re my favorites, so I’m definitely happy I got in to them when I did!

Ive been mostly focusing on Leatherman tools, tbh. For the longest time, my only Gerber was the Dime. But I ordered the Prybrid X and Armbar drive when those released out of curiosity. I also got my Grappler not too long ago. I was curious to see how it would compare to the Crunch

I used to be like that Greg, but missing out and waiting ( not knowing) for the next was torture. In the end I just coughed up and moved on with my life. The values are climbing so rapidly these days as new collectors emerge eager to grab them all. What might seem steep now, will probably make you laugh later.

Yes, your timing was perfect on the Juice line. Fantastic investment. I have a few, but nothing like your collection  :hatsoff:
I’m not familiar with those Gerber's you have, but the MP series are the classics in my view. If you get lucky you might score one of  the “First Production Run” Utterly stunning pieces.

The values are definitely getting up there. I’ve had to submit some pretty wild bids to secure things like the pruners and hunting knives. I always tell myself it’s what I get for not starting earlier

I have a pair of those Genus (plus the other two) both Genus BNiB one is signed by Tim Leatherman! :o
I did search for the hunting knife, but eBay.uk always blocks the bids, so I’ve all but given up.
I have to confess, my heart lies with Wenger...that’s my weak spot

I have a little tool about the size of a Vic Classic. It has a serrated blade stamped Wenger, but the scales are blank red.

Doubling up on some of the more hard to find stuff has been tempting. I kind of am wanting a second set of the Damascus charges so I could feel not-so-bad about carrying a set from time to time.

LOL! Very nice! I could definitely do that. I have a few boxes at my shop and a small-ish one in my garage, but they all have just regular tools. . .

I was actually looking at tracking down an OLD Kennedy box and re-lining the drawers to use for my collection.

They do sort of look good in the room.

If you are expanding...and I am sure you are, considering what you have amassed in a year, you may want to start thinking of longer term storage and expansion.

Yeah, I used to have them on top of a dresser, but I quickly ran out of room. Then, I got this box. It is pretty much full, so I’m leaning towards a Kennedy box. . . Might keep to a smaller size to start. Lol
