Hey everyone,

I'm looking to make some modifications to my new Leatherman Charge TTi and have some questions about tool compatibility.

From what I've read so far, the Rebar pliers and Wingman scissors will fit the Charge without much trouble. But I'm wondering if the same can be said of the Surge T-shank holder and awl?

Any advice you can give would be appreciated.  :)

Thank you.

I'm afraid not, they're designed to fit a bigger chassis.

Oh, and welcome by the way.  :salute:

There are ways around this however .  I fit a Surge awl in my Wave with modding.  The Blade Exchanger however will be a bit more work but it has been done on a Charge.

Thanks for the welcome, y'all!  :D

Good to know. Is it a matter of grinding/filing the parts down to the right size and shape, or is it more involved than that? (Not asking for a tutorial, but just a general idea of what tools would be needed.)

For the Blade Exchanger, its more detailed on the Charge than Wave.  I had to remove some frame and fine tune to fit in my Wave but its been a great tool.  As for the Surge awl it involved some grinding to fit but it wasn't difficult.  A Rebar awl would be much easier I think .  I did my mod in 2016 so my memory is a bit foggy.

There are some great tutorials to get you on the right track.
