Anyone ever came up with a way to carry a pair of tweezers on a alox?

I love sak’s, then totally fell for alox’s but you lose out on one of the most important tools, the tweezers,, so I was just wondering if anyone has ever came up with a way to carry a pair on a alox? I know what’s his name makes those custom scales that hide everything, but you gotta customize it, so I was just playing around last night cause I had an idea and here’s what I came up with, the tweezers I used are not your normal pair so maybe this is why it worked, there not as wide as the normal ones but it’s from one of the curvy ones,,

Anyway here’s what worked, not the best of ideas but it still worked,
There’s room underneath the two screwdriver / openers, and it fit as you can see, and on a PioneerX the scissors come down and closes it in, but once you open either of the screwdrivers or scissors it pops out, other then that it just stays put,, here you can see the drivers close all the way,,

Just a question......

Why does it have to be "physically" in the SAK...?

If i want to carry tweezers with alox, i'll just put one in the small sheath where i carry a Quattro and my modded bits, inside my coin pouch, in my pocket. Same way i carry the mini SD. I don't like the look and bulk of the mini SD on the SAK.
It dosen't have to be "on my knife" for me to carry it....

Well if you look at the Sak, you’ll notice that it has a pocket clip, and well that’s how it gets carried.. I suppose I could make a spot to slip it in my wallet, I was just curious if anyone did anything like this?

You can always add a paracord lanyard and store it in there

I got a some Sliver Grippers and I love them.  Took me a while but I came around.  There are many ways to carry these tweezers so the options are limited only by imagination.

:pok: Give them a try MadP.

They sell them on bay of fleas and the big river site.  You can get a 2 or 3 pack.  They go for about $5 each but I can assure you they are worth it.  Like I said it took me a while to get a pair and while my SAK have tweezers these are by far a better pair.

I like to carry this 58mm in this little sheath which is also a great place to stash my UBSG tweezers.

I could be wrong (has happened once in my life, or so I've been told  ), but I think @Syph007 had done some Alox scale work to make tweezers fit in them.  I'd carry an Alox as my EDC if it had a built in spot for tweezers.  A SAK (to me) should be an all in one carry, and I shouldn't have to carry separate tweezers, even if they are small.  Now I have zero issues carrying my Tinker or Climber, but I prefer the feel of an Alox SAK.

Yeah, like I said in my first post, when I said what’s his name, I meant syph007, with his unique little hide away scales,,

Thanks Aloha, I’ll figure something out, I did have a toothpick holder that went on my keychain but I have no clue where that went, just sucks having to carry even more, I mean keys are one thing but there’s the duct tape, sak, mini light, and now hand sanitizer with all that’s going on..

@ DMack  :tu:  I totally understand.  Syph also has that tray he designed which is pretty awesome.

@ MadP.   :iagree:.  The idea and hope is to be streamlined.  I get it and having to carry multiple items is not always the best course of action  :salute:.  I've come to a point where a few tid bits I want to carry became "burdensome".  I mini Bic, a AAA light, a length of cord, a spare AAA, all in addition to my other items.

Whats worked for me for the most part is a few little items that I want to carry in addition to my SAK.

You'll find a good solution  8)

 You know, I always wear a baseball cap, and there’s that rim on the inside that goes all the way around, mine has batteries because t also has lights in the brim, so what if I was to stuff something in there, or, since the cap has patches, I’m making a hidden patch, one that goes behind another that opens up and you can stuff things in it? Cash, keys, tweezers?

@MadP,  :tu:  Existing space on your everyday gear is a great place to stash such items.  If you wear a hat everyday or belt or phone case or whatever.  I wear a belt everyday and have seen belts with compartments ( not my thing ) but a great idea non the less.

I don't mind a sheath ( Skinth ) so I have a few extra spots for smallish items.  While I don't want to negate the idea of the Skinth the items I would only consider placing would be small.

I have a whole draw full of sheaths, ones that do just a single knife or ones that do multiple items, but the one knife (pioneerX) or it’s brother the (farmer) I put clips on so I could wear as a clip on pocket knife, and I’m kinda just stuck on the PioneerX, unless it’s a special occasion then my special custom sak that Syph made the Pharmber comes off display..

Well, as Wim said in another post he was after a secret patch, and well I had the supply’s to make one and here it is and how it works, it basically just goes where you’d put the normal patch but then you have the same fabric ready for the patch, so you you put your patch on, yeah it sticks out a little but unless your really looking it over you’d never know, yet as you can see at the one end the two fabrics come undone and well, you can hide stuff, keys, cash, small bandaids, idk, but heck I like it..
