Dashing to the loo,
Pants down all the way,
O'er the bowl we go,
Laughing all the day.

Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle awl the way....

Day 07
After the first week I've figured out that I've made at least one mistake with my carry. I gave up having a 3rd knife because I figured the Sidekick has a one hand opening blade and should suffice.  The problem is the Sidekick and the Mountaineer are in the leather pocket scabbard in my back pocket which has to be removed to get either tool out, so I've lost the quick access convenience of having the 3rd knife in my side pocket.  Not critical, but annoying.

Day 8

Used the phone plenty and the key a few times but otherwise pretty quiet.

This is from our lunchtime walk, Coco’s saying “and just why are you emptying your pockets in a public place again, it’s getting embarrassing“

Day 8

Found a usb cable. It looked like it had been run over by a car. I managed to crimp it back into shape, and now it can plug into my charger and it works!

The pliers would definitely be one.  Especially with bullies, if I haven’t put them on and the bully gets short he will bring it to me.

He would also want scissors for cutting tags off toys and opening treats.  Knife blade for cutting treats.  If the knife isn’t a serrated blade, then a saw, for trimming old end of partially chewed treats.  He likes my water bottle with boot as bowl, but at minimum his collapsible bowl for water.  Of course poop bags and treats are a necessity.

That would probably be sufficient for edc.  But his travel brush might also be included because he likes being brushed if up tight or anxious.

  Sounds like he would need a EDC organizer for all the tools he need.  :D

Today, a coffee before go to the daily chores...

And the Ranger file helped me to make a copy of a window key using a old rusty key with similar profile. And... It worked!

I really love the Victorinox file (and combo tool).

My most loved SAK is the Trail Guide. (But for this challenge I choose the Ranger who is everyday in my backpack)

Glad to see another Mountaineer in the group, how do you like it so far? :pok:   Do you think it would be more convenient to clip the LM onto your pants?

Day 8

Used Mountaineer for a quick scissors job, if there's anything I really do love about SAK is their scissors.

Pen and Field book to record down the Weight loss challenge progress.  More about that in the Break room.

Yet again I played with the bracelet, I tried to train myself to be really accurate when putting this back together, so I could easily dissemble and resemble the bracelet at will, and practice some knots.  But so far, it is a total hit and miss, sometimes I get it alright, sometimes it is just totally off.

DAY 8

I'm always impressed by how inventive you all are, compared to me  :salute:

My daily submission is the FX helping cut my new Nite Ize Pock-Its* from its restraint  ::)

The scissors dealt with it with no issues at all  :tu:

:iagree:

My use is woeful in comparison to you wonderfully resourceful types  :dd:

I seem to be limited by work related restrictions and living in an urban town centre environment  :dunno:
I am also limited by my total lack of ability (as pointed out by Mrs Surge  :pok: :twak: )

"Glad to see another Mountaineer in the group, how do you like it so far? :pok:   Do you think it would be more convenient to clip the LM onto your pants?" - Comis

I like the mountaineer very much, but I still like to have a saw so it pairs perfectly with the Leatherman Sidekick.  I prefer to use the leather pocket scabbard because it keeps heavy multitools from tearing the corner of my pocket or wearing holes in the bottom of my pockets.  That said, the Sidekick isn't heavy at all so it probably will be more convenient to carry it by the pocket clip. I'll try it and report back.

Day 08
I've used the Spirits pliers to adjust a radiator valve and the Lumintop Tool AA 2.0 to... well... light up the scene  :P

No complains, worked all well  :tu:
I get the feeling that I might not use the other EDC items in my bag much if I do not have to drive into town before christmas
