No worries on your numbering mishap....just correct that tomorrow.

And perhaps stop counting on your fingers and toes.

However, we are going to have to punish you for disrespecting two of the great herbs of all time.

Anyone have a well larded chicken?

(It is a very sad fact that some people have a gene set that leads them to believe cilantro tastes funny or soapy. Tragic.)

It tastes like soap to me... itsa no!  :dunno:

Actually, I quite like coriander - it's rather fantastic with lime.

Indeed.

My favorite taco topping: shredded cabbage, lime juice, cilantro (coriander, if you must), and a nice pinch of salt.

But why stop at tacos?  That quick-slaw rocks on pretty much everything from grilled beef to turkey sammies.

Unless you are McStitch, in which case, I'm guessing ketchup is your friend.   :dunno:

I have a well larded chicken that I would send to you, Nix, if only there was thyme.   However, I'm afraid it would just end up spatchcocked and roasted.

Haha, I hear you Alan! It’s worse being home so much, too.  This challenge it’s been awesome to see all of the diverse  tools, but there have been so many more temptations!  So far this challenge I’ve been directly tempted by the Obake, knipex cobra and pliers wrench, a Fällkniven folder (not here yet), and indirectly the spyderco (well, I’m already paying for shipping, better make the most of it!).
I admit it, I’m weak.
Day 24 - hear you loud and clear Tet, I think it was you who had the Rat2 earlier in the challenge, enabled!

Well that was interesting!  Even though I don’t believe it’s possible there are any still out there, it's fun to think there might be! If nothing else, I learned about a new animal, I’ve never heard of a Pademelon.
maybe paint a few stripes on Coco, grab a few tins and head into the bush for some filming?
 would certainly give the neighbours    something to talk about…the abominable coco haha

Nice new knife.  I do like the look of Ontario knives, especially for the price

Pliers freeing pliers seems like a worthy task.

I’m sorry.  I know someone else who has it too.  I love the stuff.

Don’t forget pulled pork bbq!  Not the sweet bbq, but on the North Carolina stylenbbq, cole slaw and hot sauce is delicious

Day 23 of 30

Had the ST300 and No 8 Garden knife again :tu:

(Image removed from quote.)

Nice pic.  That combo just fits.

Tet... i'm not sorry, it's a cool knife  :D

Alan... do it  :pok:

And when my enabler commission comes in (that's a thing, right?) I can get the Knipex stuff you've all been pressuring me to buy  :ahhh
The knipex XS cobra does look nice.  But I have to resist enablers for a while (like the rest of the year or until I sell some items), because my year budget has already been exceeded on two knife purchases this month.

I prefer the red handled look of the 125mm (and of course all this talk of marring surfaces with the teeth means I need the plierwrench too...), but it'll probably be late year. My personal budget is next to none existent at the moment until I find more steady work than the D&D gigs keeping me afloat atm. Then what budget there is will probably go on leather stuff to make things I'd usually buy instead  :dunno:

I know it to be true comis :whistle :
Internet combined with working from home and mixed with a few MTo challenges and you’ve the perfect brew :D

Thankfully It’s a more affordable hobby than many (try vintage synthesizers…and that’s nothing on boats, fast cars, etc)

What are we making with these?

The last thing I used these for was for my Yamaha pocket driver. I ground the square hole into a hex bit hole, and glued a magnet at the base.

https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,85060.0.html

I also have one in my Henstrong multi-tool, along with a hex piece, so that it can take standard short hex bits, because it comes with very long bits. If you put a long bit in the driver it cannot fold back in.
