torx drivers(or bits) for Leatherman
on: April 16, 2011, 04:54:24 PM
Could anyone point me to a place that sells the security torx drivers for Leatherman tools(both old and newer models), and ship internationally?
When I search here I only find old links or links to firms that don't ship int.

Or; even better, does anyone has these to sell?
I need to tighten up some tools :D

As you are asking for the security torx thet must be for a Wave/Charge/Surge, right? They are T10 security torx and are available in any hardware, electronics parts shop around the world for 2-4 USD.

If you want the whole set of security bits thy THESE, it has all the security bits you might ever need. I have one of the red ones.

Plenty on ebay. Take a look at the CRKT 'getaway driver'

Most hardware stores stock the security bits like these, ebay does as well.

The older Waves & I think some Charges have the harder to find 5 point Torx fasteners. Ebay sells these as well though.
I think they are T10 size  . You need 2 same sized bits to undo the Torx bolt.
I got the above set + a cheap screw driver set from a electronics store. The screw drivers for the older Wave fasteners(5 point) I got from Ebay.

I already have one of those "security bits" sets, that I bought locally, but they POS and don't fit, so I'm a bit hesitant to buy a new kit. I know that I've seen links to a firm that sold just the drivers you need in 2-packs, both for the older and newer Leathermans, but as I remember it they did not ship outside of the US.
