Day 26
I had to replace a printer cartridge today so I reached for the Outrider in the Duluth Warehouseman's Pouch to use the excellent scissors and discovered that I was still carrying the Adventurer which doesn't have scissors.  No Problem, I am still carrying the Spirit on the other side of my belt and the Spirit does have scissors.

Thanks for the kind words everyone  :tu:

And nice Sapphire Spartan (If I remember correctly?) Surge, though it looks like you ground the can opener down to more of a finer flat head? Though I must be mistaken, surely they wouldn't let you London types have access to any tools that would be capable of such a thing
It's a Sapphire Tinker (the Spartan is a very green scale swap  ;) )

The Tinker has had no work done what-so-ever (mainly because of my ineptitude) As for tools; my neighbour says he has a saw, I don't believe him though  :ahhh :dunno:

Ahh! I remembered it was a two layer, but what's a corkscrew between friends?

Ohhh I see what's happened, you hid the rest of it in the pocket, sneaky Englishman  :twak:

A saw? Was it snuck to him inside of a cake?

The Explorer found its way into the Skinth today and was busted out to fix a wobbly freezer handle. Love me an inline Phillips!

DAY 27

I'm now currently self-isolating (as a precautionary measure "possible symptons"  ::) )

I have a home test kit winging it's way to me as I type, so I should know within a few days  :dunno:

As I now can't go out here's my SAR Batbelt displaying the main thirst quencher (on it's pouch)  :D

Day 27

Since getting my pick set I´ve been practicing my picking so a few days ago I slid this into an empty slot in the pouch.

IMG_20210127_211013 by juan pedro almeida, en Flickr

Then I forgot it until today when I come across a padlock I needed to open. I could have looked for the key but picking it was faster and way funnier!

I needed a few swipes on the honing steel to bring the Critter back to an acceptable level of sharpness. It must have dulled a bit when I opened those coconuts last week.

DAY 28

Bu**er all practical use today (isolating blah, blah  ::) )

Here's a much maligned tool; the Wingman  :dunno: I carry it as a back up on my SAR Batbelt*

It was chosen because it's compact and light. It also has OHO combo blade (for cutting through rope etc) and spring loaded pliers. Both of these are a consideration if you have only one hand free when supporting a suspended person (hung) or carrying a stretcher.

*I have the RescueTool as the main blade on my Batvest  ;)

DAY 29

A slow day today. I've been crashed on the sofa most of the day feeling decidedly rubbish (I think it's just man flu and not COVID)

But, as we all know, Man-Flu is the worst human condition know to, well, man  :ahhh

For today here's the personal first aid kit carried on my (SAR) Batbelt. I should add that it's only supposed to be used on oneself and not a casualty (we have fully equipped medics on each search team with all the Gucci stuff for that)  ;)

I tested covid+ by halloween with pretty minor symptoms -I´ve been much worse other times with common flu
