I have added to Wiki as a new Hoffritz section, with a link back to the Hoffritz page and added a link from there back to the tangs. Also replaced the ESSR/blank image with yours. Looking good.

Thanks! Yes, that orange CT34 is really one of my favorites. The new ruby 41s are nice, but the orange one really is a beauty.

I would say we must be afraid that it is not too short!  I am for the fact that all the stamps from 1884 were taken into account and that all collectors could take part in their dating.  I also think it is necessary to invite Ulli to participate in this project.
Here are few stamps from 1950s, not sure if pics quality is good for SAKWIKI , what do you think?

Hello jnoxyd, I will put you down for a vote that we keep expanding this page, as much as we need to, so we have as complete a catalog as possible. As you rightly say, we will need contributions from the collectors to make this a success.

Your images are good - have added. We just need to confirm the date ranges.

I think you're right about all that. It’s why I suggested discussion outside of the ‘working on the wiki’ thread.

I think your suggested dates for all the ‘50s - ‘60s work for me. 

There are some finer points that can be discussed here IMO. Like ‘75 vs ‘76 for the OSCB start. I say ‘76 because it is clear that it showed up by then. ‘75 late or mid is possible, but I am not certain. And I have stamps which can be identified as ‘early’ in its use. And can track the tooling progression through talk of its use in the ‘70s. But pegging the exact start isn’t easy.

But the images have different widths even though in the source they are all set to 320px. Some are scaled to 192px.

Saw that some time back, maybe table formatting is somehow overriding image width, but really cannot explain the reason. The second table was a cut/paste from the first, so they should be the same format.

Found it in a piece of CSS:

.img-responsive, .thumbnail > img, .thumbnail a > img, .carousel-inner > .item > img, .carousel-inner > .item > a > img {
    display: block;
    max-width: 100%;
    height: auto;
}

Removing the

max-width: 100%;

fixes it. Maybe Whoey can look into this

Second table has less text in the rightmost columns, so it's rendered a bit narrower.
I've now set the first column to a fixed width so all images will be sized correctly (320px).

First of all, please, change dates for VOS/VSSR from wrong 1968-1973 to 1957-1973! Even Ulli already agreed and did it

I think it’s better to leave ‘final’ reformatting until the page is substantially complete.

For example, when 84mm is incorporated, I don’t know if it will be:

I don’t know why it was eventually dropped, but it seems like it was a bit tedious to maintain the tooling for it. Especially based on my study in the 2nd half of the 70s.

Text only designs seem easier to make and maintain. I think it’s a good thing to see completely new stamps every few years instead.

I have made these changes - however, there is no differentiation between Switzerland and Swiss Made. One option may be to use S for Switzerland and SM for Swiss Made? Also, I have seen the convention of using C to indicate the Crossbow logo, as is OSC vs. OS to differentiate between the reverse stamp that has Officier Suisse with and without the Crossbow. I have included this convention, but not Switzerland/Swiss Made, as this needs discussion.
