Hi modders!

I've made a "cyber compact" mod recently and I want to go for a smaller one for EDC at work. I've got a second brand new Compact and my primary need is an inline phillips screwdriver... Yeoman mod seems the perfect mod to do but I don't really understand the interest of the Magnifying Glass.

What could I put in this layer in front of the phillips screwdriver? Is there any tool that can fit this position? (except the led light wich is too wide in my opinion)

Maybe a tool from the 111mm saks?

Thanks!

Thanks for the idea, but for my personnal use, it'll be just as useful as the mag lens.  :salute:
I've found something that could suit me... The wenger Cyclist/mustang has a layer with inline phillips and the "universal wrench":

I have no idea if it would be possible to put the layer of this 85mm wenger on a 91mm vic compact? (But the challenge is interesting!)

Any idea about that mod?

I've been pondering that mod for a while (the Wenger wrench opposite the inline Phillips in a 91mm SAK) but I still have to find a Wenger SAK with the wrench that I'm willing to sacrifice... I'll be interested to see your results. A similar wrench sits opposite the Phillips in the XAVT, but I've never seen it in the flesh (in the cellidor?) so I don't know how close the Wenger and Victorinox versions are.

Here's the pics...

Brand new! But as I was playing with it, I've realised:

1) It didn't matche any model number that I can find... Looks like a Mustang but maybe some exotic model. Am I going to destroy it?
2) The universal wrench is a real cool idea until I was looking for some bolts. Didn't find any in my house. So, is it going to be really more useful as a mag glass? Not sure.

Back to zéro.

I need the every functions on the Compact (with the "plus" scales) AND a phillips inline screwdriver (Except the can opener function of the combo tool)

The other solution would be to integrate some king of small phillips screwdriver on the compact scales and/or under a tool on the different layers?

Maybe modifying the combo tool to match a "flat phillips" screwdriver tip?

Some many questions,

Personally, I think that's a pretty cool Wenger by its own right.  Considering it will be harder and harder to find, I probably would keep it as is but YMMV.  :dunno:

This is exactly what I meant when I said "I still have to find a Wenger SAK with the wrench that I'm willing to sacrifice". If only I could lay my hands on a damaged one with a broken blade, or weak springs...
