Other old pictures that better fit the topic:

I once built this showcase. I wanted to display a relatively large number of knives on the wall so that I can look at them well and recognize the models from the closed tools. The trays are for one knife size each, four pins hold one knife each.

Impressive Sneider!  :tu: :like: :hatsoff:
Question, do you have a solution for where to store boxes?

Thank you, guys.

@FolderBeholder: I don't store knives in boxes. So no.
But I imagine it to be very simple. Label the right shelf, boxes and put them in ...

You could invent a drinking game that involves calling a number on a random SAK to see if the company it advertises is still in business...
(OK, you're probably not 15 years old any more so you might frown on that idea. But in these lock-down days you gotta make the most of the small things!)

Do you keep the boxes that the knives were in?  If yes, do you have those boxes in a big box?

Hey Sneider

Amazing display and completely custom - Love the pins and precision.

However I am sure I remember seeing your collection in drawers - Which is the current solution please?
Or is it just that my memory is the problem?    :pok:   ???

@Folder - For the boxes I had (mainly for bought as new models) I flatten the boxes carefully  and had them in a few places - But recently I decided I did not like that - And made up all the boxes again and put them in a bigger box
However for me with just a few boxes - This is not a big problem or space consumer!

@Huntsman: Thank you, Sir.  :hatsoff:
Current I have the main part of my collection in drawers, I showed on first page of this thread.

@ FolderBeholder: I keep the boxes flatten in bigger boxes  ::) but most of my knives came without boxes.

It would seem the boxes do need some special care.

Ditto! I love quirky “sub-collections”!

Perhaps we need a sub-thread on this topic. 😉
