With all the doom and gloom, pandemic, celebrity deaths etc, it's easy to be very down right now, and, as this is a forum of tool users, I say we fix that.

I want at least one piece of good, current, relevant news from each of you!   :pok:

I'll start- after 8 years, my Jeep is finally paid off!  Yes, I went with the longnterm payment plan when I bought it as I was concerned about what would happen if I lost my job etc, and, sure enough, it was the right choice as I was injured and out of work during that period, but it is finally done! 

Megan and I celebrated with some pizza the other night, and I am looking forward to the end of February, when I will NOT have another car payment to make! 

Let the good news flow!  What's good around you?

Also, I got a refund for the fake Gerber Strongarm I bought. Took a while, but the seller finally refunded the cost and return shipping fee.

I made my shelving unit for my models, all nice and spiffy with adjustable felt shelves and a lamp, and it hasn’t fallen down! :D

The good news is WE still have MTO.  We have our little community safe from all the BS.  We have our fun hobby of sharps whether we come to show or just view all the lovely items.  We have our friendships within this great community.  We have MTO to look forward to as our little get away.  Thank you MTO. 

On my personal side of things, the kids are doing well which for me is paramount to all things.  We have taken every opportunity to grow with each other.  My friends are healthy, my clients are healthy, my neighbors are as well.  Good news is I was able to help a few people last year.  Good news is momentum from last year has carried on to this one. 

A smile from the kids each day is sunshine on my face and that my good news.

On another good note I just took the leather out of the mold I had setup last night for my FarmerX to see how it did and I must say it looks like I’ll be trimming it and maybe glueing it to put it back in the mold to make sure it’s pressed tight!

The Space X Starship base looks an awful lot like the Star Fleet base in the original Dan Dare from the 50s. This makes me super happy
