SOG PowerLock Questions

I am both new to this forum, and I just got this multitool, and it is my first SOG. I also have a stonewashed PowerAccess Assist coming, but I’m looking for info on the PowerLock. Any assistance in an answering all or one of the questions would be appreciated.

1. Where can I find replacement, possibly improved, guard plates?
2. Where can I read, or watch, a video on how to breakdown the tool properly? I ordered a replacement straight blade to replace the less than desirable combo blade.
3. Does anyone make custom skins or do paint work for this make and model of multitool? Instead of customizing one of my Leatherman (GASP! The sacrilige!), I’d possibly customize this tool instead.

Sorry I can't help but hopefully this acts as a bump.

I also have a question if any one can help.
What length are the scissors? I'm thinking of using them as a replacement on another  tool and a overall length would be good to know.
