Help identifying unknown 58mm tool
on: April 05, 2021, 09:26:58 PM
Hi,

I can't easily find a reference to this tool.  If I had to, I'd call it a cuticle cutter, but maybe someone knows the official designation.  Won this in a bulk auction.  Any help would be appreciated.

thanks,
Glenn

If I remember correctly these came out around 2016. as a combo with some Vic watches. I think I have them bookmarked somewhere in my SAKwiki to do list. i think Reinier might have the watch set. I'll search through my computer bookmarks and report back if I find them and no one beats me to it.

I’ve been trying to find one of these for a while, but I don’t want to buy a watch to get one. If it ever needs a new home...

That pretty cool.  Now I have to check every 58mm I see at the flea market.  Man thats a lot of 58mms but it'll be well worth finding one of these.

Congrats.

I have a few watch sets but none of them came with one of those strap tools. I did however get one separately that was supposed to be included with a paracord strap (sold separately).
If I recall correctly mine is the one in Alex's pic. The old, thicker version (of the tool, not an older thicker Alex :P ).
You should seriously visit vicfan.com. All the hoopy froods are doing it.

The MSRP of the set with a paracord strap was CHF 99. Different strap colours were available.
