No sore arm or anything...yet...but it has only been a little over an hour ago that I got it...so fingers crossed.
Careful - you might not be able to uncross them!

I've been able to book my second jab today for next Thursday afternoon, which will be 8 weeks after my first. I assume it'll be Pfizer again. Kinda hoping for the same dead arm so I can get out of a nightmare meeting on Friday morning. :D

Sore arm now gone. It lasted about the same as the first shot of Pfizer, which was around 30 hours. My partner was ok the first day afterwards, but complained of some soreness the next day...go figure.

Megan got her second dose of Phizer yesterday and felt a little off last night and this morning.  She had read somewhere that keeping her arm moving helps keep the injection spot from hurting too badly, and she seems to have had some success with that at least.

2nd moderna yesterday, pain in the arm, general body ache and light fever today, decided to stay home and ride it out.

Apparently drinking lots of water helps with arm pain, but I've been drinking lots and still have some

Try freezing the water in small cubes. Then, put those in a glass and cover with whisky. Wait a few seconds and drink. If any cubes remain, cover them up again, wait a few seconds and drink. Repeat until the cubes are gone.

Maybe that's what is wrong, not a drop of alcohol since the jab...

I'm getting my first in Monday! They finally released it for everyone over 18 and I was lucky to get an appointment in the first run. Wife got a time the same day but 10 minutes earlier. We don't know the brand but I don't really care as long as I'm getting vaccine

Just got back from my 2nd Pfizer. The jab itself hurt like hell, but the achy arm isn't as bad as last time. Can't feel anything else right now, so we'll see how the morning goes.

I've also got a blood test next Thursday and am awaiting an appointment for a chest x-ray to rule out any underlying issues regarding my long Covid.

It is! And hopefully most people will get in before fall and things can go back to something more like normal

Cheers mate, it's been hard work!

And it turns out I had a delayed reaction to the jab... About 6 hours after it I felt like smurf. Ended up taking the day off work. I guess I got too cocky too soon.

I read that Pfizer is seeking approval in the US for a third jab (after 12 months I think) to increase protection - possibly against the Delta variant? I can't remember.  :dunno:

Here in Sweden they are talking about a third and a fourth jab, hopefully it won't be neccessary.

In the UK they're planning a "winter booster" for anyone over 50.
