Lube for OHT
on: June 05, 2021, 04:35:44 PM
I just got an OHT and I am think about putting something on the rails so the pliers slide out better. I usually use Hoppe’s Gun Oil on my multi tools but I was thinking about maybe trying some dry lube for this. Any recommendations?

I like the 3 in 1 brand dry lube :salute: It smells a bit like Crayola Crayons so I believe it is wax based :D

G'Day,

I'll recommend a dry-lube / wax too. I find a lot of gunk gets caught in the mechanism with an oily lube. I don't often apply lube to my OHT and it works perfectly.

It is a very nice tool!!!

Pete
