Well the old adage that 'No-one reads the stickies' seems to be holding true.

Please have a look at this....

https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,4416.msg2244884.html#msg2244884

Two questions:
Can anyone help with confirming the ? dates – Charges, Waves and Skeles at least need attention – Please reply in the main thread
Are you OK for me to update the first post with the new table?

We can always move the post as it is now,, down to the next post and still have it if it is a problem with anyone that it would be gone

Another vote for yes. Good work Huntsman!  :like:

Life would be so much easier if Leatherman published production timelines on their website.
A little Leatherman information.

I am almost 100 % sure that the Wave + and the Charge + models all come out in early 2018 at SHOT and were available later through the year :salute: I bought my Charge + in November 2018 :tu:

I will check for sure in some of the threads around that time

That would also put the Gen II Wave and Charges out of production early 2018 :salute:

I think the new format is more clear and easier to navigate than the current long list of tools.

I agree. They used to have an "interactive timeline" of all of their past and current tools, but it disappeared sometime during the 2010s. They also used to list the introduction and retirement dates of their retired tools. I wonder what happened to all of that?
Current SAKs: Explorer, SwissChamp, Handyman (modded), Climber, Super Tinker, Tinker, Woodsman (modded), Electrician, Pioneer, SwissTool, Executive, Ambassador, Champion Plus
Current Leatherman tools: PST, Original Wave, Wave, Wave+, Blast, Bond, Curl, Style PS, Micra

I know. I think Tim is no longer at the helm of the USS Leatherman, and thus subtle changes have occured...but that is just the theory of a mad man.  :D

Hi all,

Thanks for the comments and responses - Seems to be failrly unanimous!!   :tu:    :D
So I made the update

I moved the original lists to the bottom of the post
I think over time - It does not make much sense to keep them as they replicate the main list - But have missing models and some incorrect dates!
So we can see if we get any more commensts, feedback and updates over trhe next few weeks and maybe eventually remove them!

I did contact Benner the author of the original post, however he has not been active for a while - I'll let you know if I hear back.

Just thought it was humorous after a few dates in the timeline might have been a bit off as well :D
