Day 53

Did a quick goose hunt this morning. The dog's been anxious to go. I used the awl to quickly dispatch one that was trying to make a getaway. Cleaned the harvest with the large blade. The blade works fine for cleaning geese, but clean up is much harder than if I just use my mora or a fillet knife.
When I got home I found a new breaking knife had arrived so used the small blade to open the box and scissors on the clam package.

Thanks all for the congrats and well wishes yesterday. My daughter and grandbaby are both doing well. :hatsoff:

Another bonus pic. The nut holding the bridge of some reading glasses needed tightening. Pliers were just the job.

You are doing some amazing goose hunting there!

Few people have heard of a "breaking knife". I have the same one from Victorinox--very nice user!  :tu:

Day 22 of 30 (Stack Challenge)

Tried a frozen naan bread pizza for dinner tonight. Big blade sliced open the plastic wrap.

I'd say the pizza was fine for when it's late and you don't feel like making anything else.

Pretty much the main use scenario for frozen dinners in general, I think.

Day 54/60. Less than a week to go in the Challenge.

Cut open cereal packet with main blade and snipped the label off a new tea towel. The SwissChamp is excessive for both tasks obviously but if you need a tool there's no doubt having one close at hand gives you a huge advantage. I didn't use the Universal Scaler for tea bag retrieval for a change.

You're right Phil.  Better the tool at hand than the one back at the house!  I use the scaler for tea so much I don't bother to mention it

If only the Tea Scaler also had a colour chart along it's length so you could judge how strong the tea was

Bonus pic. A little stitching up required a bit of needle examination

Does anyone know how to adjust the file size for pics taken with a new Motorola Android?  I'm having a maddening time with it! My posts keep getting rejected due to the file being too large   :bnghd:

Yup. Quite cheap + plus as an indoor sport gives a possibility to train and compete in darker and winter months

Today the SwissChamp helped changing batteries. Manufacturers can be very creative when it comes to battery compartments  ::)
