New Leatherman Wrenches?
on: June 13, 2021, 09:46:44 PM
Hey, I was browsing eBay and came upon these. They also ship out of the Russian Federation like Loki's, but they are a different design. Thoughts? Opinions? Comments? I like that there is bulk pricing, we might be able to get a large shipment here to the US. My only worry is that the thinner "arms" might be a weak spot. If any of you have ordered one I'd love to hear your thoughts when it arrives.

The weakest spot is the thinness of the ring. Ask me how I know. :dwts:
I don't think the stem being thinner would be an issue.

Hmmm, interesting. I wonder if these are thicker... They appear to be about the same thickness in the pics but I can't tell without having them in hand. The question I have is how in the world did you apply enough torque to one of the wrenches to break it?

Luckily it's not broken, just misshapen and it still works (an advantage of gripping the head at so many points?).
I can't remember exactly how I did it but it wasn't through normal wrenching. I think I hammered on it, I can't remember why, but I do remembering thinking I shouldn't do this...
