Hasn’t changed my mine. Overpriced for what it is. I also don’t understand the non-locking inner tools.

I like the concept, and if the "fit and finish" is as good as my Wave, then I'd be happy to carry one (I have fitted a pocket clip to my wave, so nothing lost for me having it come standard)

Two minor issues
1) I would swap the flat blade for the eyeglasses screwdriver. I just happen to use the eyeglasses screwdriver a lot, and looking at my Wave, they're the same tool width so it's a non-technical change to make.

2) My Wave has been perfectly serviceable for eight years, and unless is suffers an unlikely and unexpected failure (or more likely, I lose it) I'm not going to replace it just for the hell of it.

Still, if the Curl is still on the market when the time comes, I reckon it'd be the right thing for me.

I have/do use the Saw on my Wave, but I can't recall using the serrated blade a great deal, and I reckon I can cop the loss of the Saw for friendlier pocket carry and maybe being a bit nicer on the hands....

In 2021, any tool without a double-syncronized twist-and-flanging gasket deceleration management tool is a non-starter anyway.

Looks nice and should fit the niche it's aimed at very well. If it comes up on sale or a good deal second hand I'll probably grab it down the line  :tu:

Also, when you decide a verdict on something you haven't handled, your viewpoint changes when you actually handle said thing? Shocking!

I think this should be named Wave- or Wave Lite. I was kinda hoping it didnt contain any locking tools but i kinda knowed that they couldnt make non-locking outside acces tools.
This looks great but it is still boring tool, since it offers nothing new.

I was very happy to see it compared in size to a Wingman/Sidekick.  Even though I own bigger and "better" tools (Surge, Super Tool, Wave, Charge, P4), I carry my Wingman more frequently because it fits comfortably in my pocket.  The Curl looks like it will do the same.  I guess I'll find out for certain soon.

:iagree:
I don't know how Leatherman expects me to be able to fix the drawn reciprocation dingle-arm on my turboencabulator without one.

I think 'Curl' is surfer lingo for Wave, so some product person at LM probably did name it after the Wave.

Yeah, this is the last think I need, but of course I'm going to buy one as soon as possible.

I need to try it...but I'm fairly sure I can both store the screwdriver and used it with the curl using a little trick..if I can I'll try to post it.

Doesn't look like something I'd have interest in besides it being a Leatherman. Full sized outside file on slimmed down Wave doesn't make sense to me. I'm sure somebody will like that toolset but I don't get it.
