Has anyone made this configuration?

While I love my Spartan, I'd love to have the (gray) magnifier/Phillips layer, too.  I'm other words, an Explorer minus the scissors.   Has anyone made this set-up?

Yes, Victorinox has made it in the past!  Look up ‘Passenger’ in the wiki.

And good luck with your search! They’re out there and I should have said also known as Alpineer with the inlay on it.

You could always make one. It’s probably faster and less expensive that way made from an Explorer donor knife.

After poking around ebay, I see watch you mean. Unfortunately, I lack the tools, skills, and time to make one. I wonder if a gray magnifier SAK is easier and cheaper to source via a Swisschamp instead of an Explorer. Are there any members that do this work for others to buy?

If you’re in the states, I think modders for hire are easy to find?

Champs are usually $50+ USD used and Explorers are often less than $30. But older Champions could work too for ~$30+.

I hear you about the time available…or I’d build one for you.

Any idea where to post a request for someone to do this?

Maybe a WTB ad in the classifieds/trade forum under Tools Needed?

https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/board,9.0.html

Gotta be somebody out there with more time than Explorers!
