If your needs include a lot of function in a small package, then you may want to consider the PowerPint from SOG.

With a large array of locking tools and the Compound Leverage pliers the PowerPint is extreme versatility wrapped in a slick looking, acid washed package roughly half the size of a normal multitool.

Even though it is from the crappy quality era, it is actually a pretty solid tool- or at least mine is.  It's not much bigger than the Mini and it packs more function than some full sized tools.

I am really quite pleased with it.

IG messed up the photos- as usual, best to view them on the forum!

Instagram doesn't like my pictures sometime, and today is a perfect example- sorry about the weird shots of this, the black Victorinox Rescue Tool.

This is the black version of the more familiar StayGlo scale version which won Knife Of The Year at IWA way back in 2007 when it was released.

They don't come much simpler than this- the Shark from Superior Titanium.

As the name implies, the Shark is made from titanium and features a multi slot wrench in the body and bottle opening shark jaws.

Another forum shout out today!

The standard plier configuration with saw, file, screwdrivers, bottle openers and so on, but what happens when you need an Allen Wrench... or just a regular wrench?

Simple- grab a bike tool like this model from Schwinn!  They are often inexpensive, readily available in department stores and offer a lot of versatility to compliment your usual carry preference, even if you don't have a bike.

Another model in the Wenger Patagonia series is this Evogrip S18.

Like the Ranger we posted a few weeks ago, this S18 has the Patagonia logo laser etched into the rubber of the EvoGrip scales, and, unlike a regular Evogrip 18, the S in the name stands for Securité, which means the main blade locks.

For those counting, since I started posting these Tools of the Day things on Instagram, I have done 109 different tools, and only repeated myself once.  Not a bad average I'd say!

And, there's still a lot more just in my collection alone.... if it's one thing MTO has taught me, it's that there are a lot more multitool models than I thought there were- I mean, I haven't even done a Juice model yet!   :ahhh

I greatly dislike shoddy, poorly made tools, but not as much as I dislike shoddy, poorly made tools with good quality names on them.

This Winchester nail clipper tool is based on a set of scissors and features nail clippers and some other barely functional doodads.
