For those not aware, Leatherman has a Special Discount Program (aka “Pro-deal”) for a number of different professions, students, and veterans.

Basically, you get a once a year discount of 40% off your order direct from Leatherman.

I just gave it a try (Vet category) on a purchase 2 days ago and it was pretty easy to figure out. It gave me a one-use Promo-code to use for the discount.

Not sure how the nurse application process works, but the veteran one only took about 30 seconds and I had the promo code.

It is a once a year deal.  This was my second time using this offer - the first was a couple years on a Charge TTI which cut a huge chunk of $$$ off the price.

I utilized this deal last summer to get an OHT. Definitely a cool thing LM is doing.

Also, Gerber has a similar discount for select models.

Same here - it took just a couple seconds to verify my veteran status.  Now I need to figure out what "once a year" means.  Is that a 365 day wait, or once in any given year (2021, 2022, etc).
