I'd be happy with anything roughly bed shaped, but then i can sleep pretty much anywhere any time. My advice? Try before you buy....that should hold true in most situations! :D

Any of the memory foam beds are the way to go. You'll have to spend big $$$, but it's worth it!  :D

We got one of those Sleep Number "air" beds. I would not get another one. We (my wife and I) did not realize that the King size had a big old foam middle section dividing the two side. So basically, if we want to actually sleep next to each other one of us has to ride the "hump" so to speak ...... stop laughing you guys, you know what I mean! LOL! Also, I can never get the air pressure just right and it's not all that comfortable. But that's me, maybe others like them, I do not.

If I were to buy another bed, it would be a Tempur-Pedic.

My wife and I were bed shopping 2 years ago. We checked a lot of them out but the one that was most comfortable to us for a reasonable price was the Simmons Beautyrest. We got one with a pillowtop. We tried the Sleep Number beds and frankly I wasn't impressed at all. The only ones I liked were the ones that were just outrageous in price.

I LOVE my bed. I'd definitely recommend it.

Best bed ever is the one's the Hampton Inn's use in their rooms.  You can purchase them from their website and they are quite possibly the best bed ever.  I travel quite a bit and we do 90% of business with Hilton chains.  I know I am going to sleep well when I go to a Hampton Inn.

Best mattress I have slept on ( bought  mine in 2004 from Koala ).

I found a local mattress manufacturer in Pensacola, FL that makes a clone of the Tempur-Pedic using the same materials for a lot less $$$$ ( not paying for the national TV advertising).
I  had them make me an extra firm ( they make them on site in Pensacola, FL ) and it's really a joy to sleep on.

I have since purchased a twin size mattress from Penny at Loala for my grandson last year.

Why do I carry a 45 ?
Because they don't make a 46 !
