I’ll add my report.

No uses on Day 1 but there would have been… I was in desperate need of a toothpick after dinner tonight and there I was carrying a SAK with no scale tools!

I had to get a wooden one from the box in the kitchen drawer.

Tomorrow I plan to carry my brand new Spartan, scale tools and all.

It's funny, you never give those scale tools a second thought until you need them.

Day 2: Tightening a knob on my wife's antique dry sink.  Using the Spartan is fun!

Anymore, I only use scissors on paracord when doing finish work. When cutting a piece of the hank, I use a blade.

Great work by awl; this is going to be a hard challenge to keep up with!

Day 2

I got a little too aggressive when cleaning the coffee maker's internals. Little bits of sponge stayed behind. The Spartan's tweezers took care of them quickly and efficiently.

Day 02 I changed the worn tyres on my fixed gear bike this week. Managed to pinch an inner tube reseating the tyre which lead to a loud bang and feeling deflated.

The  hole was a little too large to patch so the tube was surplus. Fortunately I could cut a small piece with the small blade to help better seal a leaking garden hose connector.

It's a Blue Day I see

Day 2 (so far)

I used the main blade to cut a grilled cheese sandwich in half for my 3 year old son at the zoo. No picture because we had 3 other kids with us and it was very chaotic at the time.

I also used the toothpick for it’s intended purpose after I ate. No picture of that because that would be gross!

Day 3.

I opened up an action figure. I don't collect them, but I enjoy them.  I often use them for other things (1:18 fits well with most 1:16 farm toys, especially Bruder, who makes them to work with figures) To tell the truth, I couldn't pass up a deal.  I got started with figures I found on clearance racks at Walmart for $5; and most originated from discount stores for $10 or less a piece, $5 or less for 3 3/4"; $20 or less for a decent 12" inch one.

I wanted some Western-theme figures to use as riders for Breyer horses. Problem is that other than their own riders (which are doll-like with limited articulation)--there aren't many options. Happened accidentally on a Diamond Select figure of Westworld's main character, Dolores Abernathy; and the price was just ten bucks. This version in Western attire was a Walgreen's exclusive apparently.  An extra head with hat and bandana was included, but I've had bad luck swapping heads, so I may end up buying an extra to be able to use this head. Also, the Colt revolver is molded in its holster and glued to the pistol belt, so it's not removable. I'll have to find one, and I plan to get a Winchester lever-action in the scale if available. Also, a lot of action figures include a second set of gripping hands, and there are no extra hands with this figure.

The problem is that there were crossed signals involving scale. Some sellers said 7" tall, others said 6". She measures about 6.5" (provided, I measured with a 6-inch ruler so it's a guesstimate) tall, so 7-inch scale--too big for Classics (1:12); too small for Traditional (1:9). But in between enough to not look out of scale badly with either. Plus, unlike the figures Breyer sells, there is more than enough articulation to get her in the saddle with proper posture. Plus, unlike some other 1:12 figures I've had, the tolerances are just right--enough to pose the joints easily without risk of ripping something off, and not loose enough to where the figure can't stand straight or hold a pose without a stand.

Day 9

Spartan got a lot of use at my stepdaughter's birthday party today, opening packs of candles, decorations, etc. She enjoyed using the pin to pop some balloons when we cleaned up. No pics of that, but the small blade did trim a string off of a towel. Missed the scissors a few times today, but getting by alright so far.

No further uses today, but here’s a picture of the knife that cut the grilled cheese sandwich.

DAY 02

Had some use today with the Spartan. Couldn't find a worthy ale so no bottle opener today :-(.

Main blade cut me some brauts for a snack. Can opener was used to try and clean out my nails but too rounded. Awl to the rescue. Need to use something on these claws I have.

Either way a good day off.
