I'm not sure if this site is necessary "legal" in the strict sense of the word, but grab the stuff while you can.  They have some fantastic reference books available, including an electronic copy of the 27th edition of the Machinery's Handbook.

well my place to grab books is pdfchm.com, you just register and they gave you the link for download a good deal of books ether on PDF or CHM format
