I am 🙁,  had to wait for farm to process whole chickens slits three weeks.  They called Monday said they would have my order of 4 ready today after 2pm and confirmed I wanted them fresh!  Yep !!!
There shortly after 2, and and and, NO CHICKENS!!!

My order found, confirmed 4 fryers, fresh, not frozen, but cooler is empty.  Assured they were there at noon, in fact all 350 fresh chickens there at noon.

Then in slinks brother #4 of 7.   What is going on?  #2, looking for his 4 chickens(mine), and his 20 for his weekend specials (restaurant owner) and the remaining 20+ for weekend customers.  We processed 350 birds yesterday and today????   Oh, blank look on #4 face, the fire department said they had 300 prepared orders and said they would take all we had of Walkins.  So I delivered them…

No chickens for me to cut up tonight to grill Friday, no chicken to cut correctly, package freeze for future cooking projects.

Bummer.  More chickens not planned for butchering until end of month, unless I want large quail size.

😔😢😔😢😔
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Day 6: checked some more fences.

Found a big tree that's not gonna be a me, a small 34-year-old Stihl 011AV, and a UTV job. It's going to be me, a family friend, his big Husquavarna forestry saw, Bobcat excavator w/thumb, and his heavy-duty commercial-grade fencing tools kinda job next summer. We keep the sheep one pasture lower, and the only problem we have is the cattle of the person on the other side, who despite having a stockpile of thousands of dollars of government-subsidized fencing supplies, never maintain their own fences unless it's something that could get them sued--i.e. the only fence they've really fixed in 5-6 years has been the times their cattle have gotten out onto public roads; and they took forever to do a job worse than I've done with a SwissTool, paracord, and rebar binding wire.

My folks and I figure that by next summer, most of the dangerous bits of this tree will have already fallen on the fence, and it will reduce the amount of having to repair the fence repeatedly.

Here's the big part where the excavator will be needed. It completely bent this post over.

I'm certain someone/s here does/do know. Unfortunately I don't.
The box looks very '60's to me so I would guess mid-sixties - mid-seventies.
I also believe that there was 3 different ones, each with different movie theme

Day 7 -
Another change up today and selected a Mora 511.  Carry Semi concealed, as I slid the belt clip over and inside the watch pocket of front right pocket with sheath in the pocket.  Handle  is easy to access for extraction.

Day 7

Thanks to Alan's post earlier, I brought out the Brisa Necker(green handle, scandi grind) and Bobtail(mustard handle, FFG) to compare.  I got the Necker after getting a few full size knives from Brisa, and naturally, I gravitate towards their Scandi grind.  But in reality, this is a smaller knife and with a 3.5 finger handle, and I do feel a full flat grind (FFG) probably be more suitable for daily light use.  So I end up getting the Bobtail when it comes out, and turns out it is what I really wanted, a 4 finger small blade suitable for light use.

I knew the handle on the bobtail was longer but the picture makes it look as though the blade is also a little longer, unless that is just from the camera angle. I haven't seen them side by side before.  Thanks.

Day 6
Yesterday was a busy day and I forgot to. Post a picture of the ATK.  It cut open a bag of tenders for dinner.

Day 7
The ATK opened a bag of dental chews for Fisher (which for some reason won’t upload, so I’ll post another picture later)

Have you tried making the picture smaller.  Sometimes that helps.  By the way you didn't post a day 5 picture either.

Day 07

Well, that is the first week done and in the books.  Everyone has done very well so far with some exceptional blades shown and used.

Today I'm following after Noa Isumi and using the Ozark Trail fixie from Wal-Mart.  I never saw the red handle that Noa has on his knife or I'd have bought one but I went with the black, orange and woodgrain handle.  They also had all black but I've reached a point in my life where I avoid anything that looks tactical.  I didn't get mine on clearance for $3.00.  I think I paid the full price of $4.97.  I've been pretty gentle with it so I don't know how much abuse it could really take.  Mine usually lives on my dining room table, just opening food packets and pill bottles.  For that it does a great job. :2tu:  I have to wonder though, why did I just spend $115 on the Bradford Guardian when I could have spent less and had 20 of these Ozark Trails fixies.  Instead of carrying one with me I could have simply left one in every place in the house where I might need a knife.  Oh well. You live and you learn. :dunno:  Seriously though, these things are way, way better than their price would lead you to believe and I actually recommend them.

I’d have preferred a US made one but they’re impossible to get in Australia without importing one which would cost four or five times as much. The China made ones are about the cost of a pub lunch here so bit of a bargain
