Day 19

Obake again today as I might have run out of unique fixed blades... maybe, there's probably more somewhere. Busier than normal day as a trove of goodies were delivered by Amazon. Amongst other things, my powerbank situation is now back to where I like it after the freak heatwaves we had killed two.
Check out my Youtube channel  for gear reviews, comparisons, and carry philosophy.

Day19
Carrying the Ozark but today's pic is the toolbag a bunch of my knives are in rightnow...
All my stuff is in storage so almost my entire collection  is packed right now with a edc few users left out

On front and center in the pic is an 'India' souvenir knife and a 1960/70s Aqualung US Divers
I used to be a lot of things, and someday will again.
But for now I'm just a lost jack of trades with neither mastery nor home. ~NoaIsumi

Nice! Is that the position you carry in? Doesn't it make sitting a bit awkward?
I’m still figuring where is the best position along the belt, because I have only had this sheath a few weeks and haven’t used it a lot.  When I have worn it, It really wasn’t bad at all when walking or sitting, only a little uncomfortable if squatting.

Thanks Alan   :tu:

 he is...I was lucky enough to meet up with him in London a few months ago and was very generous then too

Some use? Indeed, but with the normal caveat that being in Australia I can't really take it very far from home
That is awesome that you got to meet up.

I've had so much going on lately, I've fell a second day behind. Been looking at what's planned for the next couple of weeks and decided I'm gonna bow out for now. Good luck to everyone on completing the challenge, and I hope you all get another badge for your collections. Enjoyed it, hope to see you on a future challenge.
Sorry to see you stop, but I understand sometimes life happens.  Hopefully everything is just busy and not stressful.

Day 19 (catch up)

No use today, just posing.

Day 20

Got his beauty when I was visiting France couple years ago, a Frédéric Maschio's custom with snake wood handle.  It helped with the coffee duty this morning.

Day18

Grabbed a tray of Cracker Barrel fudge

And yes I am using a stack of ammocans and toolboxes as a not table...
I wish I could still eat stuff like that.
No kidding, I still remembered those days where I would workout after dinner, only to order pizzas with friends and ate the whole pizza all by myself... while not to had the slightest sense of guilt or worry in the world.  Those were some good'o days.
  :D

Day 19:
Changing Corvid for Iisakki Järvenpää.
This well used puukko is the course knife from my officer training course back in ’86 - ’87.
I carried and used it on all field exercises and it has seen some use ever since. Unit insignia on sheath says KarTR - Karjajan tykistörykmentti; Karelian Field artilery Regiment.
No. 1 field artilery unit in the country since 1918

@Lefty - that is beautiful knife and sheath with a greater story, assigned used by an even better man 👍

Thank you for sharing! 😎

Someday I do hope to visit your part of the world.   Finland, Sweden and Norway, along with stop in British Isles and Iceland during transit.
That'd be a fantastic trip, please be sure to bring a tripod and camera to capture the Northern light, if the timing is right.

Sorry to see you go, but am sure we will cross path in other challenges.  Hope the schedule ahead won't be too stressful, always feel free to come back for a breather.

You didn't have to go on a hike to get the puppy wet and muddy.  They seem to be able to do that anywhere. :dunno:

Day 20

Back to the Bradford Guardian 3.5.  I'm still trying to wear some of the new off of it.  I took some cuttings and scraped the bark so they could take root in new pots.  I just can't get comfortable with this knife in the horizontal sheath. Unfortunately, it is too long for discreet carry.  It does carry very comfortably in my back pocket though which is fine if you don't need one handed access to your knife.

No, no, I wish.  I don’t have that kind of talent.  It was purchased through Patriot Leather Company.

Had to do errands which included some no weapon zones.  So when I was able to carry a fixi, it was the ATK.

At home the ATK, cut open some cheese
