For years, I only carried one SAK at a time.Now I carry two SAKs at a time, but that's only because I've been too lazy to take the Classic off of my key chain.
Most SAK blades work fine as toothpicks; you just have to be a bit more careful than with the plastic variety.

Carrying a 58mm on a keychain for me is so effortless and makes complete sense. Its not in addition to, its really its own thing. I hope that makes sense. I am not carrying it to compliment per se. I carry it because its a great tool all on its own. While I can see many who dislike redundancy I just dont see it that way. BTW, The Doctors Brush Picks are wonderful. I carry a couple in my wallet ( I snap a pic later ). There is no better toothpick IMO. You can also find MacGyver uses for them.
