I got the email too, and the news that a Vic London store will be opening on 17th November - might be worth dropping in an seeing these in person!

Same here.  Good thing I don't feel compelled to collect the Classic!  Those prices are eye-watering, although I'm sure Classic collectors won't mind as these are sure to become rare collectibles.

I could not resist and stopped by in a local flagship store to check them in person.
I was very impressed with the crystal one - super sparkly , very nice texture - you can feel the crystals but no sharp edges.
The carbon one was very nice too - very light, super smooth, lot of “depth” in the scales.
The Damascus was a bit disappointing - heavy, but the texture felt almost like painted only.
Overall - high end feel, high end price!

I got the email this morning but too rich for my taste especially as they are not 93mm models  :twak:

Interesting to hear about the opening/re-opening of a London store. I didn't see that in the email  :dunno:
They don't like it up 'em!

Helps if I clicked the link, d’oh!

Grand opening on 17 November 2022

The store comes with a brand new retail design concept, which brings together the Victorinox values of quality, functionality, innovation, and iconic design with refined details. Visitors can experience the variety of Victorinox on two shopping floors: from novelties to highlights in the areas of luggage, watches, pocketknives, kitchen knives, and perfume.

On the large personalisation station, guests can view different personalisation options for all Victorinox products at a glance and give personal touches to pocketknives, kitchen knives, luggage, and watches as well as create very special gifts. Another highlight is the pocketknife assembly station, where guests can assemble their own pocketknife upon appointment.

Obviously impossible to capture it in the picture...

Cheers mate

I had two emails this morning and presumed they were about the same thing  ::)

I may be persuaded to visit said location on the 18th  I'm heading to South Kensington that day so a quick diversion would see me there at about opening time  ;)  :climber:

I saw those in an e-mail from Knife Center. They look nice enough, but I have way too many 58mm models as it is.

If I pay five figures for something, it better have wings or a foundation!

I wish they would have treated the Rambler like this.

Oh and a bit disappointed, that the CF does not come with a CF toothpick and tweezers. At that price, I kinda expect that. Instead they went for no T&T.
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

 :iagree:
Why oh why is it always just the classic  ???
I appreciate there are many classic collectors but surely they’d open up a new market if they did the rambler, minichamp, manager or whatever as a LE

 :iagree:

And at that price the % cost increase for a Rambler, even MC, is minimal - Much better idea

And the Ramber has so much more functionality than the Classic for minimal size increase

And it would make this series a bit more special. Classics are already available in many variations (including luxurious ones steel/granite/gold...).
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.
