Spyderco TriAngle Sharpmaker - Base missing

After some searching found all the triangular sharpening stones, but...    the base is missing. I had dark or black things in a darkened house, specially in the winter when things are even darker.

Have searched the internet and only found a few auctions on older versions with only two holes. Am still looking. Nothing has turned up yet, and I do not like the Smith's pocket sharpener.

The serrations of the Victorinox Spirit does not cut like it used to, the awl is in bad shape (use it lots), and the chisel needs some love. Does anyone know of a way to get just the base of the unit? Don't want to have to fork out another large bill to get another sharpener. Or is there something that is event better??

  Luckily I went exploring the nooks and crevices around the computer area in the bedroom. Apparently when I got a new computer and moved it to the front room is when the base unit fell in between the heavy metal desk and the old hutch. Got a LED Lenser H8R in (with veteran;s discount) and was poking around when I glimpsed a faint shimmer that looked familiar. Sure enough I found it last night. Thank Goodness!! Will have to replace the safety rods as those went walkabout. That is easy.

Will have to give both Spirits a much needed sharpening.

I was also going to suggest contacting Spyderco and letting them know what you needed.  I am sure they would have looked after you, but better that you found yours!
