I'm with Ben on all his points

(Mikey dared me to say that!

)
If you buy a cheap blade/tool with no or a poor warranty and it breaks/fails, you have to buy another one.
Say you spent 20 bucks on it, chances are your not going to get the same blade/brand again, and you
then spend 40 bucks on something you hope is better, with a slightly longer warranty (if any).
if it breaks/fails again, now your out 60 bucks that could have gone to a quality/long warranty blade.
I feel I'm taking a chance/gamble on a cheap tool I could really need in the future, (survival situation),
personally I don't like that. That's why Lifetime
and Reputation are important for me. I like Busse (clan)
blades because they are Lifetime of the blade warranties, my kids-kids (etc) can have them replaced
(if their is a world/civilization to replace it!) but until then, just knowing they and companies like them
will do that (in writing) makes me feel better.
