Multi-Tool Keeps Tightening Itself

Hello, my dad recently gave me his multi-tool, I have a slight issue with it;
One side is perfectly fine, I've had no issues with it... but the other side has been bugging me because where the handle folds in keeps tightening itself. I've loosened it and it keeps going back to really tight. I'm not really sure what's up with it I thought I'd just find forums to ask for assistance. Thanks

What kind of Multitool is it ? Could you post some pictures.

I don't know much about this, so bear with me
I believe it is a camping/fishing or a general outdoors multitool.
I do not know the brand/manufacturer, but I did do a reverse image search on google and the closest thing to it was a Winchester Winframe Multi-tool.
There are no significant signs or writing on it, except "Stainless" and "2CR" on the bottom part of the pliers.
Photos arent working, I will try to do a separate reply with the photos.

Based on what we know so far, I would say the root of the problem is that it is a low-quality no-name multi-tool.

Thus, my first and best suggestion is to buy, carry, and use a high quality tool.  If the current tool has sentimental value, then put it somewhere you will see it often (e.g. on your desk as a paperweight).

If you are determined to continue using the tool you already have, I would probably try a very small amount of Loctite (try the blue first) on the threads of the offending screw.  Make sure not to Loctite anything that is supposed to be able to move.
