Wow! Long Awl / Cutaway Scale Pioneer & Farmer

I am blown away by these two amazing SAKs that joined my collection today.  The Pioneer is a very early specimen with Victoria tang and *gold* scales.  I have this knife with silver and red scales but never even hoped for a gold one. 

The Farmer is a knife that I wasn't sure even existed.  Vintage old cross Farmers are common, but I've never seen one with long awl and cutaway scales.   Incredible. 

I am indebted to the MTO collector community for these two nifty additions to my collection!

Lovely old SAKs - Very, very nice additions to your collection

Hey when you say long awl is that just the normal old triangular awl on the 93mm models - ie the one before the current one
Or is that an extra long triangular awl - compared the the normal triangular awl

If the latter - Any chance of a comparison shot?   ???    :D

Thanks fellas!   

Huntsman, yes, I never know what to call it.  This awl is the one that appeared on the 1957 Pioneer and was changed to the current folded piece for the Model 1961 Soldier SAK and subsequent Pioneers.   

I will go find my red and silver Pioneers and take a family photo!
