Leatherman Arc Update
on: January 05, 2024, 11:28:04 PM
Howdy everyone. When I first received my new Arc, it arrived gritty and stiff. My first impression was not great. It is a $230 tool, it should have been silky smooth out of the box. Well, time has passed. I left the Arc soaking in 3in1 oil. 3in1 is at its core a CLP. After being coated in 3in1 oil, the Arc is silky smooth. I see no reason to do this, but you can flick it around like a butterfly knife. The outside tools now are smooth like they should be. Now that the Arc is working like it was designed to, I am going to enjoy using it.

Great to hear it is better now :woohoo: I actually got mine second hand and it was already broken in some but still looked brand new  So, I can't comment on how it was straight out of the box  but it is in very smooth operating order to me :tu:

Glad you got things sorted, it's a great tool and your going to enjoy using it. Sorry you had an unintentional break-in period
