Original Song About My Granddaddy's Pocket Knife...
on: February 03, 2024, 01:50:13 PM
I'm an old rock n roller who's gone acoustic in the last decade or so. Lately I've been missing my Granddaddy as I quickly approach his age...

All together now…

“There was nothing that couldn’t be handled by Grandaddy’s pocket knife.”

Fantastic!

Thanks PitCarver and nate j for the kind words.

Funny, the things we're reminded of as we get older.

I had to go back and look again.   Durn sure looks like one.

I’m curious what Ben’s Granddaddy carried.

My money’s on a large stockman.

Yea, it's a 6318 medium stockman I bought back in the late 90's.

I think so.

When you're little, everything looks bigger though, so it might have been a medium, but I think it was a Carbon Stockman, dark scales. He was buried with it, so we'll never know. I'm the oldest surviving male so there's no-one I can ask anymore.

I really appreciate the kind words from all.
