Hello from CO
on:
February 19, 2024, 03:29:08 AM
Hello everyone, after reading over posts the past few weeks I decided why have I not joined yet??? Anyways as someone who has dabbled with MT over the past 20+ years Ive really gone into the weeds this past year lol. My first MT was a PST I got in 1997, I still have it but the knife broke off years ago. I recently sent it in to see if they would replace the blade- fingers crossed.. Ive carried a skeletool the past 7 or so years and just very recently picked up a Surge and a Center Drive. Im glad there are forums like this as Ive learned so much reading here the past few weeks. Thanks and glad to be here

Awesome to have you here! Leatherman should get your pst back in working order for you. Nice to see you are giving the center drive some love, it's a great tool. This place has a great community and a wealth of knowledge, I'm glad we've been helpful.

Welcome!
Yeah I have to say it was pretty frickin cool going in there and talking to all the guys there. The info and back ground on all the different knives they provide was sweet. The icing on the cake was being able to try out each model right there in the store.

Living close to a Spyderco outlet and hanging aroung the smurfing enablers in here could be dangerous for your wallet's health...

There are literally dozens of Spydie models I would have bought right away if I had had the opportunity to hold them. I very rarely decline a knife I have in my hand. Must be the trauma of growing up poor in a poor country. Before easy Internet shopping I would grab any nice folder I saw in a store, because that may have been the only opportunity to get that knife. So it'a good to have distance.
