My EDC Casio

I don't have any expensive watches, but I do have one that is reliable. Just an unremarkable Casio, with a battery that just won't quit. It says 10 year battery. That wouldn't even begin to say how long this thing has lasted.
My late Dad knew I used to keep a good watch. He saw me carry this black Casio and said, "Why don't you get a good watch?" I said it kept perfect time with zero maintenance. Sounded like a good watch to me. After this one finally rolls over and floats to the top of the tank, I might not buy another. Probably just use a cell phone for a watch. Till then, this is my EDC. Best wishes. Gary (IMR)

A solid watch is hard to beat. I've acquired several watches over the years and I've used them all but I tend to gravitate to a few that just seem to be good all-rounders.
May the best of your past, be the worst of your future.

They say the best watch is the one you like and use the most, you've found it!

There was a scene in a Jeff Goldblum movie, where his new girlfriend asked why he never changed his clothes. He answered that he did change his clothes, and she should look in his closet. She found that he had 7 identical sets of clothing and shoes. He explained he got the idea from Einstein. It saved him from having to make decisions about trivial things. Like what he should wear.
I always did that sort of thing with watches and pocket knives etc. Same functional watch. Same knife. I bought, sold, and traded lots and lots of knives, but only carried one. Since I joined this site, I wound up with quite a few more knives that I don't really carry much. Why did I buy anything, since I already had what I was going to carry? I never could turn down a deal. Use them or not. Keep them or swap them off, I don't have much invested. So, I don't fret about it. Best wishes. G

Nice one Gary! I'm a G Shock fan through and through. Does everything but brew the coffee first thing in the morning and can probably do even that with Bluetooth
