actually I'm more fascinated by grip training as there are quite a few ideas and implements floating around

Yes. I have a bunch of those devices. It can get expensive. My favorite is the Russian Sotsky's Exerciser. It blows up my forearms and really works my grips.

well yesterday's trip to Decathlon fell through so didn't find anything for grip training
