This is what I have on me, theres more in my bag but this is on me.

Billfold (with Swisscard), iphone, tobacco, Zippo, wedding ring (white gold), engagement ring (titanium), ring-I-use-to-open-bottles (steel), ring (surgical steel), bracelet (steel), bracelet (titanium/silver), Vic Spirit (liked it more than I thought). There is car keys with a little Fenix, house and work keys (tip, make your house and work keys the same!) with a little Swiss Lite.

The watch is a Yes Watch Zulu (surprised to see so few of them aroud here (well, theres the price of course)) http://www.yeswatch.com/wrist-watch/timekeeper/zulu.html

Maybe I will show off my brand new Sitka with contents some other time, but that one is more or less nothing you guys have not seen before.

(Just bought me a SwissFlame btw)

at the moment when im at work i edc a charge alx a mini maglite ( work gave it too me) and a solitaire on my keys

i want to get better flash light and im getting an alox classic to go on my keys

i only carry the leatherman at work as im 17 and in uk id rather not get arrested lol

works a maintenance apprenticeship so thats why i have the leatherman

any suggestions on other edc stuff?

Hi Ryan, like Dave says, there's pkenty of info here regarding lights etc but personally I have an ITP A3 EOS torch which kicks butt! There's lots of info here about them as they are quite popular at the moment.

Regarding your ALX, as it has locking blades it's technically illegal for any of us to carry I'm afraid :(
There are a lot of MTs that don't lock so you might consider looking them for EDC purposes.

as long as you have a reason to carry it, it is fine. even if you don't, I won't go into the technicalities of it, but I don't think anyone has ever been convicted for carrying a multitool, and it seems unlikely too given the nature of case law.

Heh, yeah, its a classic. I do think its easier to get away with in non English speaking countries though... What it says can be considered not the nicest of things...

There are a lot of MTs that don't lock so you might consider looking them for EDC purposes.

Another good light, that is the same size as your Solitaire but puts out more light than you'll be able to believe, is the Fenix LD01.

As for your Multi, the ALX is fine for you to carry at work, and also when going directly to and from work (so no stopping at the pub/shops etc).  A few of us can be quite flippant about carrying locking tools but given your age and the current media hype I'd be really careful about when you carry it without specific reason.

A reasonable, cheap, non-locking, UK EDC legal multi you might want to think about is the Leatherman Kick.  A lot of our options are listed here: http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,8384.0.html

BTW are you mechanical or electrical?  I served my time as a mechanical maintenance engineer and have mostly done that kind of work ever since (and a few other things to add a bit of spice :D).  I didn't discover multi's until after I had finished my apprenticeship though.  :-\

its a bit of both building maintenance for the a company called romec we do all royal mails maintenance we so do lifts etc lights all sorts you'd be surprised how varied it is.

and yeah i only carry iot to and from work no where else im careful about that

might look at a knifeless fuse or something for other times though

Actually I think that's one of the best things about a big maintenance gig like that, never the same day twice.  Sounds like you've got a good job there. :salute:

Weapons (which BTW are rarely discussed) have nothing to do with bad language and this is a family forum so we keep the language clean.

A cleaned up pic would be great.  :tu:
