I don't know anything about Flytanium or Fat Carbon, but Blade HQ has Flytanium fat Carbon Cadets on sale for $60 with free shipping.  Seems like a decent price for a screw together mod with fancy scales, especially since the regular cadet is $45.

If the trees blew down the wind and no one was around, would the alphabet song really go backwards?

I thought the Champion's was a metal file.  This looks like a larger version of the nail file that came on the 58mm.  Perhaps a custom piece?

It’s the standard cadet nail file. They switched back to the cut style (from the sandpaper like texture one) a few years ago.

If you are referring to the cut style file, I personally find it to be overly aggressive and prefer the grit texture one.

Got mine today. Not really happy with it now. The tools close sluggishly. No snap.

I’ll play with it, maybe take it apart and clean/reassemble it and see if that helps.

EDIT:

After slightly loosening the screws, the familiar Victorinox “snap” is there.

Fully happy now!!!

Nice! The scales definitely look cool. Is fat carbon heavy or lightweight?

Thanks. I’m not familiar with fat carbon, so I didn’t know if it was heavy like brass, or something more reasonable like aluminum or titanium
