Badge (upgrade) request: Time Lord Level II
on: May 13, 2024, 10:14:07 PM
This request was made possible after I did a trade with ToolJoe. Many thanks to him for sending these my way and being an all-round cool guy!

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

On my right wrist are a Casio F-91W clone and a Casio DW-5600E. The F-91W clone has taken the place of the DW-5600E as my regular watch. The DW-5600E was a 40th birthday gift from Mrs. FX. Since I nearly lost it in recent memory and its sentimental value far exceeds its monetary worth, it's now largely retired.

The Timex on my left wrist awlso came from ToolJoe. It'll be my go-to if a fancier watch is the order of the day.

Thanks again, TJ!

That's a good score right there.  I'm partial to Timex myself.  I've been trying to find spare parts to repair one of my Timex but no luck just yet.

Congrats on the badge!

The DW-5600E doesn't get worn much anymore. I nearly lost it a few months ago, and it's become way too sentimental. After getting used to seeing the GD-100-1B on my wrist, the F-91W clone just looks way too small, and I prefer a negative display these days. The Timex may see more wrist time after it gets a new band (the one I put on is a little small for my wrist, and I don't have spare links for it).

A new band can indeed really give a watch a whole new personality. I'll definitely check out StrapsCo!
