I'm going to be honest here Magic. I love my Swisschamp, because it's ace, but you're talking about something here that's getting on for the size and weight of a full-sized MT, which it unfortunately would be inferior to in most applications. On the plus side, it's natty, it does pack in the features, and it is a legal, non-frightening EDC. The occasional use that mine gets is usually in the office where the Charge's S30V battle-sword might make people cry. That's a big plus for a lot of people on here.I think if you collect SAKs at any level though, it's a must, although I wonder if the big Cybertools might be a bit more useful.
I was unsure about getting one myself but I have never regretted it. With a listed 33 functions there is lots to fiddle with, many of them you just won't find on a multi-tool. If you ever dreamed of having a SAK as a boy then this is the one you were dreaming of. It is a bulky thing but no worse than a multi-tool. Get a belt pouch and you won't notice it. Go on .
DaveK already mentioned it but I also would suggest a cybertool. I find them more usefull than the swisschamp.
