You are welcome. Just wanted to make sure your wounded warrior was able to return to the fight. Glad they took care of you.

I have to agree with Powernoodle.  It seems all I carry these days is my Leatherman Rebar at work, it just does it all and if I need one hand opening knife I get my Milwaukee Fastback utility knife.  I use the Rebar around the house quite a bit too when working on projects.  The Rebar and Supertool 300 fixed the one problem I have with the PST which is locking tools.  I have been pinched once too often by the Wave and I don't use it anymore.  I may need to pick up a Supertool 300, it is just hard to justify when the Rebar is so great but hey why not.  :multi:

I agree it's a great tool. I just can't carry one because I literally already carry too much crap   In my LM pouch, I have a Rebar, Knipex Cobra XS pliers, and pliers wrench, LM extension, a full 12 piece Wiha double sided bit kit, and an Olight flashlight. I'd have to lose a couple things to carry the 300 instead of the Rebar. Just can't justify it because I've needed and used everything in that kit many times.  Yes, sometimes I have a Crunch or a Surge instead, but it's hard to not have extra stuff in my pockets then.

If I could get away with it, I'd have a 300 like my son's EOD in the picture. It has M pliers and we switched around some tools too. I'd add another tool instead of the C4 punch (my explosives days are pretty much over anyway), and I'd include the prybar if at all possible. But having a bit exchanger and a t shank holder......oh yeah that would rock!

Getting stocked up on any of these is never a bad thing. I'll probably do that now!

The Rebar is a Junior ST300, so it is the next best thing.   :tu:

Also, we have the 300m and the EOD versions but LM doesn't seem to push them as much as they might should :dunno:

:iagree: But powernoodle's praise could help sell a lot of ST300s.

Under a tropical storm warning as of the 5 AM advisory this morning.  The ST300 is now on my belt. It is the tool I feel most comfortable with in an emergency situation.

(Image removed from quote.)

My son's 300 is a combination of those 2. I think that they (and especially his) are very useful MT's that don't get noticed very much. Basically a Surge without outside tools.

I appreciate the well wishes but I don't believe the storm is going to hit anywhere near me.  All the forecasts for the last week have said it was going to be north of Tampa in the gulf side of the state.
