Tool holster divider material?
on: November 16, 2024, 08:03:48 AM
Heya all,

A friend recommend I post here a query of mine. I'm making a new set of leather holsters for multitools, bits and sockets along the lines of the Victorinox double depth pouch for the Swiss tools. They have a divider inside that is used to make extra divided areas. It is very heavy duty and that is what I'm wanting to get for building my own.

I'm thinking it might be ballistic nylon but it is very rigid. Maybe someone on here knows what it is or can recommend something suitable to use there either way.

Cheers

Wez

Welcome Wez to :MTO:
I believe you are correct about that being ballistic nylon in the Vic pouch.  If there are any junk yards in your area you can salvage some seatbelts.
