I just got my Roxon Flex companion in the mail. Not to sure how I like it just yet. I bought it with 4 additional tools: The scalpel the long flat file, the small serrated blade, and the BLANK.
I got the file because the smaller one that comes with the Flex C. is basically useless as a file. I don't understand why any multitool companies even bother making such terrible files. Sadly, when I opened the long file it DID have the edge (hack saw) part that so many cheap companies leave off, BUT it was made from the same stainless steel that the rest of the tools are made from. Completely wrong for a file. I'm sure it would be ok for filing you finger nails but not much else.
The small serrated blade might be ok. The serrations look kinda weak.
The Scalpel tool seem fine.
I bought the blank to make a long hook tool. I did something similar on an old Coleman Prolock. I am a big fan of hooks on multi tools. Very underrated.
I didn't get a chance to polish the tool after I was done making it. But here are some pictures.
