OK folks lets try this again. :D  Please can we keep votes to those who are attending the meet-up ONLY!  We had 12 votes last time and only 8 people are going, you do the Maths.  ;)

Merit Badges Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a Delemont SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days. Must start a thread with a photo of your birth year SAK Start a new thread and post a photo of the minimal sak (2 layers or fewer) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread with a photo showing the axe in use Start a new thread and post a photo of a traditional folder for thirty (30) consecutive days. The sharpener is non engravable whereas a SAK is.

Looks a bit late now anyway, and the Artifact was dismissed ages ago wasn't it?

We're having this debate across two threads now, but, I would definitely prefer something multitool related, rather than an SAK which would get chucked in a drawer. I mean, really, you aren't going to EDC a 58mm knife over the stuff you've already got are you?

I used to come here a lot.

I always carry a 58mm with me everyday anyway :)

One reason I like the SAK idea is that we can order them in pre-engraved in a few choices of colour.  Quick, easy and we have a few options as to exactly what style within our £15 budget.  Perhaps it would be a good idea to make buying one optional, that way no-one has to buy anything they don't want.

Not sure if it helps or not, but I have changed the poll settings so people can change their minds and vote to opt out if they wish.  Not quite sure where the final decision lies, but I'm up for a 58mm SAK as well.

I know most people will have one but they should be fairly easily obtainable (used, who cares if they're not brand new?!) easy to engrave and cheap (used) :think:
