Need some help for identification

Need some help for identification

I just bought this Wenger, but I have troubles to identify it. It's a seven layer tool and otherwise similar than monarch, but there is a clip point blade instead of a nail file. Colonel would have a clip point blade, but this has phillips instead of a corkscrew.  I can't find this from SAKwiki. Does anyone here know what model is this?

It could be Monarch variation. Identify Wenger is bit confusing since on catalogs doesnt have all variations. Wenger was making lots of diffrent variations on same models.

And follow up question. Is this rare? Do I dare to carry and use it as an edc tool?

Now it has good amount of pocket lint and other stuff in it and the scales have scratches on them, but otherwise it's in good usable condition. I'm going to give it a good cleaning, when I get back to the home.

It could be rare but not sure how rare, since those are discontinued it has some value. I time to time carry my Wengers what arent NOS, you could try to carry it and see how it goes

Yes - Wengers can be confusing with the small blade vs nail-file; corkscrew vs Phillips; and security vs regular blade options.

This seems to be a Colonel with a Phillips ..... alternatively,
A Monarch with a small blade

We could/should put it in the Wiki as a variation of one or the other, or both - I don't really want to create a new page
But what do you think, Knights?   ???    :think:
