S. Beat. Rare?
on: February 01, 2025, 04:53:39 PM
Hello fine folks.
I have a S. Beat I rarely see them. Are they rare? Or is everyone like me? Have one but it just sits on the shelf in the box.

That's pretty cool.  I don't think I'm familiar with those.  It'd be cool to own one but it would just be a shelf queen for me and I already have several shelf queens.

Not seen one before, but I keep finding new models on here I knew nothing about!  Thanks for sharing!

Never heard of this, either.  Is it an iPod packaged into a small SAK?  Interesting.

By the way, I love the yellow warbler picture that is your avatar.

Congratulations on such a unique model! I'm going to say this is the first time seeing/hearing of it and, being one that grew on 8-tracks,LP's, cassettes, CD's,  Walkman's, Ipods, et. al, I find it quite interesting. :tu:

I would say rare - But of course it is in the Wiki !!!   :climber:       - described as containing an MP3 player
https://sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Swiss+Beat+MP3+Tool

Definitely worth keeping - I think it did not last very long as it got overtaken my technology (similar to the Apple Jetsetters). We should try and add some dates to the Wiki   :pok:

I would love to know how it works?   ???      Have you used it?
Presumably there is a PC component where you synch up tunes
